Chinese Kitchen – Thursday September 18th, 6-9pm

Some of these dishes you might have tried before but my guess is that few of you know what it takes to prepare authentic Chinese favorites like these. You will be amazed at the complexity of Chinese cooking and Eddy Ng is more than happy to let you in on some his family secrets. On the menu:

  • Beef Shank in Brine Water, Szechuan Style – A slightly spicy and savory appetizer -川式滷水牛腱
  • Honey Garlic Chicken Wings – A party favour dish coated with a special garlic and honey sauce -蒜香蜜汁雞翼
  • Sweet and Sour Pork – Boneless pork served with fresh pineapple, red pepper in a special sweet and sour sauce -咕嚕肉
  • Stir-fried tiger prawns with traditional Cantonese-style black bean sauce – Large crunchy tiger prawns in a aromatic garlic black bean sauce -豉汁炒明蝦球
  • Stir-fried seasonal vegetable with ginger and garlic -清炒時菜
  • Jasmine rice -絲苗白飯
  • Mango, Coconut and Pomelo Dessert – a very light and fruity dessert – 楊枝甘露
