Sticky Sesame Seed Chicken Wing in Hoisin, Honey and Soy Sauce – 烘烤芝麻密汁雞翼

Football (NFL) season is in full swing! It is important to have the right finger food when you and your friends are watching the game. This recipe is a perfect choice! All it takes is to mix the chicken wings with the marinade, bake and serve, a real no-brainer. You can keep licking your fingers when the wings are long gone!

Note:

-Use the middle part of the wing
-Use a large mixing bowl for final tossing
-Use Chicken drum stick if are hungry

Serve 4

Ingredients:

3 pounds chicken wings
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon of kosher salt,
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds, lightly toasted
1 scallion, finely chopped (green onion)

Method:

Heat oven to 425°F. Line a large shallow baking pan with foil, put a cookie rack over it.
Mix hoisin sauce, honey, soy sauce with garlic, salt, sesame oil. Pour mixture over chicken wings and let it marinade for at least an hour (longer the better) Place wings on cookie rack. Roast, turning over once, until cooked through, about 35 minutes. It is done when you can see the caramelization (browning) all over the wings. Pour remaining marinade in a small frying pan (low heat) and reduce sauce by half, set aside.
Transfer cooked wings to a large serving bowl and toss with sesame seeds and scallion. Mix with the reduced marinade sauce. Make sure you toss it really well. Add more scallion and sesame seed as final garnish before serving…..dinner is serve!
